Andy manages the SIPP business development team, sits on the SIPP management committee and works with the SIPP proposition team. His passion for collaboration and continuous innovation reflects BW’s approach to ensuring a personable service that values each client’s individual needs.
He is particularly proud of the co-branded SIPP arrangements he has helped set up, his collaboration across BW units, such as DrumRoll, and pioneering new ways of providing technical support to advisers, which continues to generate particularly positive feedback.
As part of the firm-wide business development team, Andy is a frequent collaborator with colleagues across the firm’s business areas and with the central marketing team. He has developed extensive experience and knowledge across all aspects of SIPPs including FCA and HMRC rules, drawdown and investments. Frequent dealing with financial advisers and co-branded SIPP partners has built his understanding of their industries and needs.
Andy’s clients are principally investment- and savings-focused businesses looking to add a co-branded (or “white label”) pension wrapper for their UK retail clients and with financial advisers. For the former, this means understanding strategic and practical objectives and finding the right solution, both at outset and ongoing. For advisers, Andy and his team work with those involved with panel selection, delivering training and ongoing adviser support.
