SSAS: reconciled financial statements

As well as providing a fixed fee annual administration service and consultancy advice to our SSAS clients, Barnett Waddingham can also provide annual financial statements – an option chosen by over half of our SSAS clients.

Our financial statements are reconciled and prepared on a cash accounting basis (we do not track how much rent is outstanding where a SSAS has properties, for example) and provide the information needed to complete the annual Return to HMRC and the annual apportionment of assets between the members.

We charge a fixed fee for producing these financial statements with the fee determined in advance based on the scheme’s assets. We review the fee each year, generally applying an annual inflation increase as well as updating the fee to reflect any changes in the scheme’s investment holdings.
