Associate and Technical Specialist

Steve performs a technical specialist role in our pension administration business area.

His responsibilities include being part of the technical team which ensures our processes and communications comply with legislative requirements and meet our clients’ expectations. He also provides day-to-day technical support to our administration teams and is a regular contributor to our monthly PATHways publication.

Steve is responsible for leading the transfer support function. This includes ensuring that transfer requirements are met and that the frequently changing legislative and regulatory requirements and industry good practice relating to pension scams are assessed and implemented, as appropriate. 


In the main (and usually indirectly by providing internal support to client facing teams), trustee bodies of our pension administration clients.

Significant experience

  • Worked for over 24 years within the pensions industry.
  • Led on the implementation of updates to pension administration transfer out processes and communications following the coming into force of new transfer regulations in November 2021.
  • Assisting with identifying and analysing current and future legislative and regulatory change.
  • Participate in industry wide bodies in relation to pension transfer activity.
