Barnett Waddingham (BW) has opened a new office in Edinburgh, further strengthening our commitment to Scotland as part of our ambitious UK-wide growth plans.

We have established a dedicated city base at Spaces, Lochrin Square, where we will occupy the fourth floor with a team of experts from our key services of risk, pensions, investment and insurance.

"As part of Howden we are stronger together, and establishing a base in the city builds on our shared ambitions in the Scottish market"
Andrew Vaughan Senior Partner, BW

The Edinburgh hub builds on our recent move to a new, larger office in Glasgow and becomes our 11th UK base, underlining our continued investment in expansion across the UK’s key financial centres. The move also enhances our ability to deliver exceptional service to our growing Scottish client base, following our recent acquisition by Howden, the global insurance and employee benefits intermediary group.

Andrew Vaughan, Senior Partner at BW, said: “Edinburgh is one of the UK’s leading financial centres, with a thriving community of insurers, asset managers and FinTech firms, alongside some of the country’s best actuarial and financial services talent. We were keen to amplify our presence here as part of our ambitious growth plans.

"As part of Howden we are stronger together, and establishing a base in the city builds on our shared ambitions in the Scottish market.”

"We're looking forward to deepening our engagement with clients and colleagues across the region and contributing to Edinburgh's professional community."
