We believe that good governance is critical to all pension schemes, whether defined benefit (DB) or defined contribution (DC). We therefore offer a first class trustee secretarial service, delivered by an experienced team including qualified members of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI), which can be tailored to meet your specific needs - whether you need full governance support or someone to take trustee meeting minutes.

We can provide interim support at short notice to cover increases in workload due to unexpected projects or absence.

We offer tailor made on-site training days or workshops to help keep you and your team up to speed with changes in legislation and pension scheme benefit changes.

Pension projects often require long-term planning which may not fit into your resources expertise. We can help you in designing communications to members, reviewing processes and by undertaking governance reviews.

Our experience, breadth of technical knowledge and communication skills make us ideally placed to provide expert witness reports.

A number of our experts have given evidence in court and many more have prepared expert witness reports under the Civil Procedures Rules.

Recent projects have included:
  • providing resources to support an in-house administrator in order to assist with a peak in calculation activity
  • providing practical guidance to trustees of defined contribution schemes on how to meet their obligations under The Pension Regulator’s Code of Practice No13 covering governance and administration
  • streamlining a new trustee client’s scheme governance documentation in order to make it easier to use
  • when an in-house pension manager became unexpectedly absent during a busy period we stepped in and provided an experienced short-term interim pension manager at short notice
