Victoria is an actuary and Client Account Manager to a range of trustees and sponsors of defined benefit pension schemes.
She provides a wide range of advice to trustee and corporate clients, enabling her clients to understand, manage and monitor their pension scheme risks as they move towards buy-out or running on their schemes.
Victoria has strong, effective and longstanding relationships with her clients, and delivers advice tailored to each client, assisting them in navigating the changing pensions landscape.
Victoria has experience of working with a wide range of UK businesses (including not-for-profit organisations), overseas parent companies, and their defined benefit schemes. She advises clients ranging from £10 million to £700 million in size, including both open and closed defined benefit schemes, from large schemes with overseas group parents to small single employer schemes.
Significant experience
- Excellent track record for establishing effective working relationships with her clients and their advisers.
- Successfully managing complex pension scheme projects including valuations with complicated benefit structures and facilitating bulk annuity transactions.
- Working closely with the Scheme Actuary in providing advice on all aspects of Scheme Funding advice.
- Calculations and advice on various pension rectification projects.
- Advice on wider pension scheme matters, including reviewing member option terms, PPF levy mitigation, governance arrangements and keeping trustees up-to-date on current pensions issues.
- Advice on UK and international accounting disclosures to employers, including advising on assumptions, preparing disclosures and working with auditors.

- Victoria is a Line Manager and mentor, supporting the team’s development and managing client workflow.
