Combined with his wide-ranging experience, this makes him the trusted adviser to a number of clients who want their pension arrangements to run quietly and competently, leaving them to focus on their key decision making responsibilities.
Steve sits on the firm’s Trustee Consulting Board, which is responsible for client service and future strategy for this practice area. He is also a past chairman of the firm's Pensions Actuarial Technical Committee, which carries out research and provides technical support across the firm.
Steve also has a particular focus on the charities and not-for-profit sector. Around half his scheme actuary clients are in the sector, and he has advised a large number of charities participating in sector-wide multi-employer pension arrangements.
