Simon joined the company in 2017 and is a senior member of the Board Management Services (BMS) team. He is an accomplished governance specialist with over 30 years' consulting and administration experience.

As well as his client management work, Simon also leads our technical tools team and has played a pivotal role in the development of BW CORE, our award-winning ESOG/ORA and risk management platform.

Simon works closely with clients to develop long-term and trusted relationships and to ensure that the services we provide are tailored to their own needs.

He has been a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute for over 15 years.

Significant experience

  • Providing senior project management support to one of the UK’s largest private sector DB pension schemes.
  • Providing full scheme secretarial and governance services across a portfolio of clients.
  • Experienced client relationship manager for both governance and administration clients, including senior CRM roles for two of our largest administration clients.
  • Building long-term relationships with all stakeholders.

Career

Simon has spent his entire career in pensions since leaving school in the early 1990s. He qualified as an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute in 2002 and became a Fellow in 2012.  Simon joined Barnett Waddingham in May 2017.

Interests

Outside work, Simon’s life revolves around his family.  With two young boys, there isn’t a great deal of spare time, but when there is, Simon likes nothing more than going out for long rides on his motorbike.  More recently, Simon has taken up strongman training and most weekends are now spent lifting Atlas Stones or attempting car deadlifts!
