Nick manages the technical training, professional qualifications and early careers for the Pension Administration business area across all our nationwide offices, which involves liaising closely with professional bodies such as the PMI.

He chairs the industry working party responsible for the Pension Administrator Apprentice Standard.

He has gained experience in all different aspects of pension administration, including time as chairman of the Pensions UK North London Local Group and a national software user group. 

Significant experience:

  • Manages and develops strategic initiatives for training and professional qualifications
  • Leads early career programmes
  • Contributes actively to initiatives led by the Pensions Management Institute

Career

Nick joined Barnett Waddingham’s Amersham office in April 2015, having previously been the Pensions Operations Manager for a large in house pension scheme. He has worked for insurance companies, in-house pension scheme departments and third party administrators.

Interests

Nick is head coach of the local cricket Women & Girls sections. Between work and family, his time on the golf course has dwindled – but he is hoping to rekindle this!
