As IT Support Team Leader, Jeremiah leads a team of second line IT support engineers, based in multiple Barnett Waddingham offices throughout the UK.  

Working together, the team provides a strong support network, strengthens client relationships, and ensures issues are dealt with promptly in a professional manner to over 1500 stakeholders. 

Jeremiah is a member of BW's My Learning Committee and Diversity & Inclusion Committee. 

He became an Associate at Barnett Waddingham in June 2022. 


Main area of expertise:

Jeremiah’s main focus is to ensure our clients are supported with core IT infrastructure, processes and systems - to reduce downtime, increase productivity, and facilitate exceptional client service. He manages the escalation and ticket management within IT Support ensuring issues raised are dealt with, with the correct guidance provided. The team encompasses several responsibilities, including the following: 

  • deployment, administration, monitoring, control and upgrades of IT systems. 
  • requirements gathering and strategic planning with management leads 
  • overseeing existing IT hardware and procurement  
  • conduit between IT support and the practice areas to ensure communication on business requirements  
  • guidance for the team in terms of career development with training provided 

Significant experience:

  • Led the IT Apprenticeship Programme since 2019 
  • Promoted and set up a new learning platform named Pluralsight for additional upskilling and learning within the IT team 
  • People Manager Development training programme 
  • Laptop hardware that fits the requirement of Barnett Waddingham 

Other expertise:

Since 2010 Jeremiah has remote managed a decentralised IT support team who are based in multiple offices across the UK, growing a team of support staff and apprentices, leading with empathy, maintaining engagement and motivation, and ensuring the timely completion of tasks, tickets and projects.
