Beth is a Principal and Scheme Actuary based in our London office. 

Beth is head of Post-Transaction and Wind-Up, leading a team of specialists that provide independent oversight and strategic support for schemes moving to buy-out and wind-up. 

Beth also provides Scheme Actuary advice to Trustees, helping them develop  long-term funding strategies that meet their objectives as well as providing advice to schemes throughout the PPF assessment period, particularly “PPF +” wind-up cases where schemes are looking to secure benefits with an insurer.

Significant experience

• Post-transaction lead for schemes across a range of insurers.
• Advising trustees on Scheme Actuary matters relating to funding negotiations, journey planning and endgame delivery.
• Designing and delivering complex GMP equalisation and conversion projects, restructuring complex pension increases and underpins to simplify benefits making them insurable.

Other expertise

Beth is a member of the firm’s Pensions Actuarial Technical Committee, which provides the tools and training to enable the pensions actuarial teams to tackle new and difficult pensions issues.

Beth also co-leads our Gender Equality Network, promoting and championing awareness of, and engagement in gender-related topics across BW.
