A true partnership
We look for graduates with relevant degrees who are eager to join a firm where they can make a difference.
To support our continued growth as an independent, resilient and evergreen business, we need talented, motivated and enthusiastic people to join our Graduate programme. Our graduates get early opportunities to work directly with clients and plenty of training to develop their technical and communication skills. Graduates get to work with different teams during the first 18 months of their career – following which a specific team is selected to work in.
At BW, you will thrive in a business which believes strongly in being supportive, developing its people and offering a good work/life balance.
Our Trainee Consultant scheme supports employees to achieve the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ (IFoA) fellowship qualification – the highest level of qualification attainable within IFoA.
We support our Trainee Consultants as they undertake their actuarial exams, with study days, financial support and an assigned study mentor. While the exams are challenging, our students have a better-than-average record of exam success. Following completion of the first 18 months of the scheme, depending on the team joined, our Trainee Consultants can either continue studying for the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ fellowship qualification, or consider alternative routes to qualification, such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Continuing growth is important if we are to meet the aspirations of the graduates who join us every September. We believe that our values provide a solid foundation for future growth, and we look to recruit people who share these values.
Alongside our hard work we enjoy plenty of social events, from team lunches to baking competitions and inter-office sporting events.
We will have new graduate opportunities this summer across our offices nationwide, with assessment days expected to be held between November and January. View some of our frequently asked questions below to help you start the application process.
