Framework for a well-run, compliant DC scheme
Topics include:
- Driving better member outcomes – understanding the core purpose of DC governance.
- Regulatory compliance and employer responsibilities – what you need to do and how to meet expectations.
- Engaging and educating members – communication techniques that drive better decisions, compliant with Consumer Duty requirements.
- Technical operations and scheme mechanics – including asset transitions and other essential processes.
Session two (9.30am-12.30pm, Thursday 5 March 2026)
Delivering strong outcomes in DC
Topics include:
- Supporting members at retirement – flexibilities, behaviours, guidance, advice, and emerging solutions.
- Designing effective DC investment strategies – selecting and maintaining suitable options.
- Key legislative developments – the most recent changes affecting DC schemes.
- What’s next for DC pensions – the developments and priorities to keep an eye on.
Cost
The cost to attend this training is £220 per person or £195 if more than one person from the same organisation registers a place. Both amounts exclude VAT.

About our host
Jeni Flanagan DipPFS
Jeni is a Principal and Senior Client Relationship Manager, advising corporate and trustee bodies on Defined Contribution (DC) workplace pension arrangements. Her work spans scheme design and restructures, ongoing governance, and member engagement, helping clients keep a clear focus on improving member outcomes.
She is particularly experienced in DC pension compliance reviews, using audits and due diligence to identify and resolve issues such as contribution and auto-enrolment errors. Jeni also leads BW’s internal audit working group in this area.
Jeni has supported a number of employers and trustees in moving from own-trust arrangements and consolidating into master trusts, as well as providing independent governance support. She is based in Cheltenham and holds the DipPFS.
