Barnett Waddingham win Employee Benefit Consultant of the Year at the Workplace Savings and Benefits Awards
Our innovative approach to benefit consultancy and unwavering commitment to solving clients’ workforce challenges were recognised last night at the Workplace Savings and Benefits Awards.
Celebrating excellence among pension and benefit providers, the award was presented to our Workplace Health and Wealth team during a lavish ceremony at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane in London.
Judges praised the team for demonstrating a "clear strategy" and for "putting the customer at the centre of everything they do".
The award for ‘Employee Benefit Consultant of the Year’ is a testament to our forward-thinking team, helping clients understand and maximise the value from, and to their people. Using an ‘ACDC’ framework (Analyse, Consult, Deliver and Check) we anticipate, understand and meet clients’ needs and beyond.
Our team is supported by technology and talent. The world of Me2 - our enhanced and multi-faceted digital engagement portal with a difference – gives users the freedom to learn, play and plan around retirement. Built by analytical actuaries, but brought to life by our creative agency, DrumRoll, we recognise individual needs and involve employees at all stages of their retirement journey.
“We are delighted to receive this award; a submission which has been five years in the making. My greatest respect and thanks to my colleagues involved in our journey from day one, those who have joined along the way - or indeed left to branch out.
The award recognises our unique approach to the ever-changing workplace. We firmly believe that everyone has a WHY; a purpose, cause or belief that inspires them. We based our WHY around the philosophy of Eudaimonia: a state of happiness which translates as "human flourishing"; reflecting work as a successful, symbiotic relationship between employer and employee. As such, we structured our business to reflect the pursuit of happiness and wellbeing for employees and employers alike.
Everything we stand for is embedded in our promise - to do the right thing. We strive to go beyond the expectations of our clients by providing a high quality, independent and professional service - built through strong personal relationships and tailored solutions while remaining competitive on fees.”
