Principal and Head of Corporate Brand

As the Head of Corporate Brand at BW, Andi leads the brand and corporate communications, crafting and implementing strategies that boost brand equity, market presence, and client engagement.

Andi works closely with a BW's broad range of business areas, and the senior leadershuip team, to ensure the corporate brand is consistently represented and aligned with the organisational strategy.

Andi's role focuses on developing comprehensive brand strategies that align with BW's goals and values, defining brand positioning, and overseeing the development of visual identity and tone of voice. Leading corporate communication strategies, he aims to enhance internal and external messaging to bolster brand reputation. Andi is also responsible for brand protection through IP and trademark responsibilities.

In addition to leading the Digital, PR, and Design functions, Andi manages budgets, external brand partnerships, and fosters a collaborative approach to Marketing activity and workflow.

Achievements and experience:

  • Set up a client communication operation in 2012 which produced over 200 pieces of engaging member communication each year. This was the pre-curser to the wider Engagement team which has taken over the responsibility of centrally produced client engagement and continues to thrive today.
  • Devised and drove our awards campaigns from 2014 - resulting in success at the DC awards, the VIB awards, Pensions Age awards, the Corporate Adviser awards and the UK Pension awards. These professional accreditations have bolstered our external reputation and have given us wide ranging exposure in industry-wide publications.
  • Promoted to Associate at Barnett Waddingham in 2017.
  • Key part of a team who drove and implemented a comprehensive rebrand of Barnett Waddingham in 2017.
  • Driven local associate activity from 2018 to ensure the local senior team have a voice, meet regularly and support the Partners to deliver growth objectives.
  • Implemented content and SEO strategy in 2019 to help drive website traffic to record levels.
  • Overhauled BW's events strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic to onboard a fully digital portfolio of activity.
  • Promoted to Principal at Barnett Waddingham in 2022.
