What to expect from the application process

Applying for your first professional job or deciding to change jobs is a big step. We want to make sure your application journey is as smooth as possible so we provide you with all the information, support and help you need to make your experience a good one.

As part of your application you may be contacted by one of the team for a brief, informal conversation to let you know more about the apprenticeship programme and to get to know you a bit better. You'll have an opportunity to ask us any questions.

If your application is progressed, you'll normally be invited to participate in an assessment where you'll have an interview, take part in a practical or group session, and have a tour of our offices. You'll also have the opportunity to meet current or recent apprentices to help understand what it's really like to be an apprentice at BW.
