Principal and Technical Training Manager

Nick is responsible for managing the technical training for the Pension Administration practice across the nine offices and chairs the Training Group. He also chairs the Qualifications Committee, which involves liaising closely with professional bodies such as the PMI.

Nick is a member of the firm’s Pension Administration Planning Group, which is responsible for planning and developing strategy within the Pension Administration business area.

As well as this, Nick is an active member of the PMI’s Sector Engagement Committee.

Career

Nick joined Barnett Waddingham’s Amersham office in April 2015 having previously been the Pensions Operations Manager for a large in house pension scheme. He has worked for insurance companies, in-house pension scheme departments and third party administrators.

He has gained experience in all different aspects of pension administration. Nick is a past chairman of the NAPF North London Group and a national software user group.

Interests

Nick spends his weekends coaching his son’s 11 a-side football team and helping with his daughter’s cricket team.  His golfing days are dwindling, but he is hoping to rekindle this!
