Mandy manages the PPF administration team in our Birmingham office providing both ongoing administration services and assessment work for several schemes being assessed for entry to the PPF.
She has experience of all aspects of day to day administration for defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) schemes both ongoing and discontinued. She also has experience of project work, preparing quarterly reports, attending trustee meetings and dealing direct with members at surgeries.
More recently Mandy has specialised in all aspects of PPF administration, project management and assisting with the successful transfer of several schemes into the PPF.
Mandy deals directly with independent trustee firms as well as lay trustees helping guide them through the assessment process of a scheme preparing for transfer to the PPF. She also helps members understand the complicated process and provide reassurance about the security of their benefits within the PPF. For this work Mandy also has to build relationships rapidly with all the parties involved with a scheme entering the PPF.
Mandy also liaises closely with the PPF on any scheme issues as well as general procedural projects in Barnett Waddingham’s role on the PPF administration panel.
Significant experience:
- transferred a number of schemes to the PPF over the last couple of years
- significant experience in all aspects of DB and DC administration
- has worked across all different types of pension providers – insurance companies, in-house pension schemes and third party administration firms

Mandy also provides support to the Pensions Management Institute in Barnett Waddingham’s capacity as study support partner for the RPC qualification.
