Jude Bennett FIA

Joining our Bristol office as a Principal and Senior Investment Consultant, Jude is an actuary who provides investment advice to trustees and employers of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes, as well as bringing his skills to bolster our growing Fiduciary Manager Evaluation services.

Jude’s main areas of expertise is in advising trustees of defined benefit schemes on all aspects of investment strategy, taking account of the full context of the scheme with regards to the nature of the employer covenant and the funding position. His advice has an emphasis on directness and clarity, focusing on the areas likely to have the greatest impact on a scheme’s position and avoiding unnecessary complexity.

He has advised schemes with a very wide range of sponsors, including industrials, insurers, asset managers, charities and public sector organisations. Jude’s client base has included multinational organisations, as well as UK-based sponsors.

His experience covers a wide range of schemes, investment vehicles, employer covenant context and Pensions Regulator involvement.

• Developed a range of models and advisory reports to illustrate risk and other characteristics of different investment strategies
• Development of BBS’s fiduciary manager oversight services
• Bulk annuity broking and implementation services
