Elizabeth is an experienced leader with an extensive career in professional services and demonstrable commercial, consulting and thought leadership skills. She brings with her an enthusiasm and skill for securing valuable solutions for clients.

Elizabeth's leadership experience is highly regarded, particularly when it comes to implementing effective and practical governance solutions. She brings her skills to Barnett Waddingham's leadership team, enabling development and growth of the firm for the benefit of our clients and our people. Aside to her role with BW, she is currently Chair of Aviva Master Trust.

Elizabeth's previous executive board experience includes her role as Chair of the ExComm in her role at the HSBC pension scheme and as a member of the Governing Body and Audit Committee of SPCK (an Anglican charity and publishing business). She was also formerly Chair of the Committee for a semi professional chamber choir and charity from 2015-2018.

Career

Elizabeth graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Politics and Modern History before embarking on a career in professional services. She has held senior partner positions and leadership roles for large firms including PWC and Mercer. She was appointed in January 2015 as the CEO of HSBC Bank Pension Trust (UK) Limited, retiring from the role in 2020. She was appointed Chair of Aviva Master Trust in May 2020.

Interests

Elizabeth is married with three children and a beloved Labrador. In her spare time she enjoys singing in a semi-professional choir and the parish church choir, as well as playing piano and flute. Her family’s shared passion is skiing.
