Chris is an experienced administrator and client manager for occupational pension schemes.

Chris has extensive experience in providing administration services to all types of occupational schemes and well as providing governance and secretarial services.  He also has good knowledge of project management, particularly around implementation of new schemes.

Significant experience:

  • qualified at Practitioner level for PRINCE2
  • client manager and secretary to the trustees for a range of DB, DC and Hybrid schemes
  • leader of the Pension Administration practice area’s Ideas Group – which generates efficiencies
  • leader of the Pension Administration practice area’s GMP Reconciliation project group – reviewing business needs and strategy around the end of contracting-out in 2016
  • involved in new business and marketing activity

Career

Chris graduated from the University of Huddersfield in 2001 and joined Barnett Waddingham in 2002 following a spell at the West Yorkshire Pension Fund.  He became an associate of the firm in 2011 and has been in charge of the administration team since then, and then became Partner in 2017.

Interests

Chris has a young family to keep him busy and is often found at a karate class trying to keep up with his sons.
