Chris Powell FIA CFA

Chris is an Associate and Senior Investment Consultant and is Head of Outsourced Investment Research. 

Chris is responsible for designing and implementing bespoke investment strategies for institutional investors. In addition to his research responsibilities, he supports clients with governance reviews and the selection and monitoring of outsourced investment arrangements.

Having started his career as a pensions actuary, he has a range of experience working on actuarial, investment and governance matters. Chris enjoys using this knowledge alongside new technology to find innovative solutions for his clients.

Significant experience:

• Working with Trustees, sponsors and other asset owners in the UK, Europe and the US;
• Providing training and communicating complex matters in relation to investment, governance and delegation / fiduciary management / OCIO;
• Reviewing investment governance frameworks for schemes ranging in size from £10m to over £5bn;
• Supporting Trustees through the selection of a outsourced investment provider; and
• Performing reviews and evaluating the performance of outsourced investment providers.
