Bhavika is a Senior Investment Consultant, advising trustees of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes in all aspects of their investment strategy.

She has experience of setting long-term investment strategy, investment risk management, manager selection and monitoring. Bhavika has experience of working with private DB and LGPS clients with liabilities from less than £10 million to over £1 billion.

Bhavika is also a member of Barnett Waddingham’s Sustainable Investment Team.

  • Design and implementation of LDI strategies.
  • Manager selection advice.
  • Design of investment strategies in preparation for buyout.
  • Advising on the investment aspects of several bulk annuity transactions.
  • Provision of advice, training and monitoring to LGPS Pension Committee members.

Career

Bhavika graduated from Imperial College London with a master’s degree in Physics, which included a year studying in Germany.

She joined Barnett Waddingham as a new graduate in the actuarial team in 2011 before moving to investment consulting in 2014. She qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2016.

Interests

Outside of the office Bhavika enjoys travelling, a large part of which involves seeking out the best vegan cuisine.
