After the success of last year's HR Bites events, we're holding these dinners again at a number of locations around the UK. This is an ideal opportunity to share insights, experiences, best practice and learn more from each other in a relaxed environment.
The gender pay gap
Our main area for discussion this time is the gender pay gap. This is a complex issue with a range of causes. To understand its roots, we need to know how to identify its causes — so that improvements can then be taken.
We’ll be discussing some of the underlying issues that lead to men and women being treated and paid differently. Employers need to be able to do more than simply measure the scale of gender pay inequality.
