New Partners and Associates 2002

The Partners of Barnett Waddingham are pleased to announce promotions with effect from 1 June 2002.

New Partners

Nuala Hedges heads the defined benefit and defined contribution pensions administration teams in Cheltenham, having been instrumental in establishing our office there in 1996.

She has direct responsibility for a portfolio of significant corporate clients and, with over 20 years' experience in the pensions industry, specialises in client management issues including training client staff in pensions administration and managing major projects. Nuala is also responsible for day to day management of the office and monitoring of quality procedures.

Richard Millson is responsible for the Leeds office executive benefits teams, including Small Self Administered Schemes, Self Invested Personal Pensions and Funded Unapproved Retirement Benefit Schemes.

He has 19 years' experience in the industry and is qualified as an Associate of the Society of Financial Advisers. Richard speaks regularly at Barnett Waddingham's seminars on SSASs and SIPPs, and has also spoken to other professional bodies on these schemes.

New Associates

Isabel Coles
is a qualified actuary on our corporate pensions team in London.

Phil Duly is a consultant in our corporate pensions team based in Cheltenham, with particular expertise in defined contribution arrangements.  He is a qualified Associate of the Pensions Management Institute.

John Harrison is a qualified actuary in our Leeds office who specialises in the application of US accounting standards for pensions to UK subsidiaries.

Sam Meldrum heads the Amersham office software development team and is a qualified actuary with 8 years' corporate pensions experience.

Rajeev Shah is a qualified actuary working within our London office insurance practice.  He is a member of the Staple Inn Actuarial Society Committee and the joint Institute and Faculty of Actuaries Customer Interests Working Party.

Andrew Twells is based in our Amersham office and, as a qualified actuary, specialises in providing pensions and investment advice to large corporate clients.
