Annemarie has worked in the public sector pensions’ arena since the early 1980s, commencing her career with the Greater London Council, before working for the London Residuary Body prior to joining the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA) at its inception. In her last role at the LPFA, she was Assistant Director Specialist Services, a Principal Officer and member of the Corporate Management Team. She joined Barnett Waddingham in March 2010.
Annemarie has the CIPFA certified qualification, Certificate in Payroll and Superannuation Administration (APSA) and the Institute of Directors’ Certificate in Company Direction. She represents the firm at the LGPS Pensions Technical Group and has a seat on the Investment, Governance and Engagement Committee of the LGPS Scheme Advisory Board.
Outside of work, Annemarie is a Rotarian and often involved in voluntary work of one sort or another.
Annemarie is experienced in leading projects and for example in 2007/2008 led the project that saw the smooth and successful introduction of the New Look Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) at LPFA for both its own Fund and those of its clients.
