The DC Strategic Summit is a very significant initiative. It gathers many of the leading influencers in workplace pensions for an annual reality check on the state of the DC marketplace. The audience gathers delegates from right across the DC “ecosystem”: representatives of leading occupational pension schemes, master trusts, platform providers, IGCs, asset managers, pension consultants, member organisations, insurers, official institutions and trade bodies.
Exchanges are frank and candid, conducted under the Chatham House Rule. The agenda is designed to be of maximum practical value to anyone with a stake in the future of DC pensions. It has been prepared following extensive and close consultation with an Advisory Board drawn from senior practitioners representing asset owners and other stakeholders from across the DC Pensions sector.
