Barnett Waddingham’s SIPP and SSAS teams have been awarded a two star ‘outstanding’ rating by independent assessor Investor in Customers.
Barnett Waddingham received praise for achieving an overall score of 7.49 out of 10, a particularly high score for a company receiving its first assessment.
Andrew Roberts, partner in charge of SSAS, commented: “Staff in both our SIPP and SSAS teams have been working really hard over the last twelve months and they are delighted with the feedback. I’m conscious that it’s been a challenging time as we have switched over to a new SIPP administration platform and have also been integrating some large SSAS portfolios. The whole business has customers at its heart and my colleagues are all focussed on that.
“There’s still room for improvement and we’ll be looking at areas highlighted by customers and advisers where we could do better. Addressing those concerns is key for our continuing success and luckily some issues were already on our radar so we are a few steps ahead in some cases.”
Neil Craig, Founder and Managing Director of Investor in Customers said: “Customers have given them solid 2* scores across all of the IIC principles demonstrating a praiseworthy consistency of service. Although there are areas to focus on the company should feel pleased with the strong messages of support coming from their customers.”
