Barnett Waddingham expands bulk annuity services with appointment of experienced actuary

We are delighted to welcome Rosie Fantom to the Barnett Waddingham team; helping to drive our bulk annuity services forward, with significant experience in pension scheme de-risking, insurance and regulatory services.

Rosie was previously a Senior Manager at Scottish Widows where she was a founding member of their bulk annuity business, writing c£4 billion since 2015; this included transactions with high profile companies such as Hitachi, Barloworld and Greene King. She also supervised bulk annuity insurers at the PRA and helped set up LCP’s streamlined bulk annuity offering.

Rosie is a versatile actuary with more than a decade’s expertise in the bulk annuity market; experienced in implementing Solvency II insurance regulation and helping stakeholders navigate complex pension projects.

"As pension schemes mature and the bulk annuity space continues to grow and innovate, we have the opportunity to offer even more in-depth, specialised services for our current and new clients. Barnett Waddingham’s bulk annuity offering is continuously adapting and evolving alongside the industry and I am joining at a time of increased activity and interest in this market. From a personal stand-point, I am excited to be part of a team that is so focused on providing the right outcomes for its clients."
