Barnett Waddingham expands insurance team with the appointment of new consulting actuary
Nasir Shah joins Barnett Waddingham as an associate and consulting actuary, and will be supporting a range of general insurance companies across a variety of areas - including capital modelling, internal model validation, reserving, risk management, model use with visualisation, Solvency II, IFRS and process transformation projects.
Nasir is a qualified actuary with over 12 years’ experience in insurance and has led large teams to deliver various engagements internationally and in the UK, across personal and commercial lines. Prior to joining Barnett Waddingham, he co-founded ANN Consulting, worked for two of the "Big 4" consultancies and a medium-sized Lloyd’s Syndicate.
