Barnett Waddingham launches its first two pilot apprenticeship programmes

We are pleased to announce the launch of a pilot apprenticeship programme, providing training and guidance to the next generation of financial services pension administrators.

The 18 month programme will combine on-the-job work experience with the ability to gain a Pension Management Institution (PMI) qualification, all while earning a salary.

The scheme is targeted at students completing or recently completed their A-Levels and will be based at our Amersham, Bromsgrove and Cheltenham offices.

“We are passionate about developing our people through training and qualification programmes at Barnett Waddingham, and this programme will allow us to find the best talent to integrate with our business and contribute towards the way we work.

This is a fantastic alternative for students looking to earn whilst they learn. Apprenticeships are a key component in creating multiple employment opportunities for our future administrators especially in an era of limited vocational choices.

As a company of 1,000 employees, our people are the backbone of Barnett Waddingham and this new scheme will provide each apprentice with a stepping stone to a prosperous career in the industry. As well as stay with us and help us to continue to grow as a business and deliver beyond the expected to our clients.”
