DC consultancy continues to grow with the appointment of another senior specialist

We are delighted to appoint Nick Clynes to a new senior consulting role in our northern Workplace Health and Wealth (WHW) team. This follows the recent appointment of National DC Consultant Andy Parker, formerly from Mercer.

Nick joins the team as a Client Relationship Manager, after 30 years in the industry working for Mercer, Grant Thornton and PWC. He will be advising corporates and trustee clients on all matters of defined contribution (DC) pensions, as well as having a huge amount of experience advising employers on overarching employee benefit strategies.

He will be working alongside 50 DC specialists and will focus on advising clients on the design and governance of DC schemes, as well as other benefit strategies. He will be integral to the continued growth of the firm’s WHW practice, particularly in the north of England where he has an excellent profile in the industry.

"As employers want to drive as much value as possible from their employee benefits packages, I’m delighted to be joining a firm committed to this area of consultancy. Barnett Waddingham has an excellent reputation and I look forward to helping the team continue providing quality DC services to a growing number of clients in the north."
Nick Clynes, Client Relationship Manager
