Nick Salter proud to announce key partner and associate promotions

Barnett Waddingham has announced the promotion of three of its staff to the position of partner and 15 to associate, ensuring continued business growth and success.

The three new partners see the firm's total now number 64:

Andy Greig joined Barnett Waddingham’s pension administration team in February 2000. Andy's expertise revolves around pension administration, new scheme implementations and pooled banking services. He plays a key role in business development in our pension administration business, and is also responsible for our administration teams across defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes at our Bromsgrove office. Andy’s experience and proactive approach provides our clients with a high quality and reliable administration service.

Simon Rusling is the head of marketing and has overall responsibility for the planning, creation and delivery of marketing strategies to support the ongoing development and growth of the firm across all markets. He works closely with other partners across the business to not only support our growth ambitions, but to also ensure it is well coordinated and that we continue to present ourselves well to existing clients, intermediaries and prospects alike. Simon has been at Barnett Waddingham since 2008 and leads the firm's central Marketing team which delivers a wide range of marketing activities including communications and PR, event management, research and insight, brand management and design, and new business support.

Stuart Harrison joined Barnett Waddingham in 2011. He advises a range of trustee and corporate clients on investments, including asset strategy, risk reduction and manager selection. He has experience of a wide range of investment and actuarial work including strategic advice, liability hedging and long-term de-risking. Stuart previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for over 10 years.

    Nick is a founding partner of Barnett Waddingham, joining in 1989. Throughout his actuarial career, Nick has specialised in advising companies and trustees operating occupational pension schemes; both final salary schemes and money purchase schemes. Nick has extensive experience in pension scheme matters and has responsibility for a portfolio of large and medium sized domestic and multinational companies and trustees. He also acts as an expert in litigation cases.
