Move your SSAS to Barnett Waddingham

Many SSAS (and EPP) providers have already abandoned their clients as they do not see value in looking after niche clients.  Other providers might be looking to offload their client book in an effort to concentrate on bigger business.  We are different.  We value our SSAS clients and make no secret of our desire to continue looking after niche clients for the long term.

We have an experienced team of SSAS consultants backed up by the financial strength that comes with being the UK’s largest independent firm of actuaries.  You will be given a dedicated point of contact at one of our five SSAS offices, who can guide and counsel you through the relevant rules.  It will remain your scheme, by which we mean that we will let you know the rules relating to unusual investments so that you can decide how you wish to proceed.  We don’t impose unnecessary restrictions.   One of our partners sits on the industry body - AMPS - that represents SSASs and so our knowledge is up to date.

We don’t tie you in to any investment or service provider.  But given that our clients often like to hold cash, we operate our own branch of Bank of Scotland to give a top rate of interest for trustee current accounts and continually look for higher rates of interest available with other deposit takers.

If you are interested in finding out more, please contact one of our consultants named below.  They will arrange a no-obligation initial meeting and, if you are moving to Barnett Waddingham from an existing SSAS provider, they can authorise that the administration costs for the other provider are paid by Barnett Waddingham (up to £450 plus VAT) and you can move onto our current standard trust documentation for no charge.

Remember, if you haven’t had your rules updated since 2006, you will need them updated by 6 April 2011, so you should act soon.
