Adrian Waddingham, founding partner and former senior partner of Barnett Waddingham, the UK’s largest independent firm of actuaries, pension administrators and consultants, has been made a CBE in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Adrian qualified as an actuary in 1975 and has spent his entire career campaigning for better pension provision; he is the former chairman of Association of Consulting Actuaries, the International Association of Consulting Actuaries, the Association of Pensioneer Trustees and Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Actuaries in the City of London. Adrian was awarded his CBE for services to the actuarial and pensions professions.

Commenting on Adrian’s award, Nick Salter, Senior Partner, said: “On behalf of everyone at Barnett Waddingham I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to Adrian on this prestigious honour.  Adrian has contributed a tremendous amount to the pensions and actuarial industry and this award of a CBE is a fitting tribute to his commitment.”
