Barnett Waddingham appointed by London Borough of Newham

Barnett Waddingham, the UK’s leading independent firm of actuaries and consultants, has been appointed as the actuaries and investment consultants to the £600 million London Borough of Newham Pension Fund following a competitive tender involving ten firms.

The contract is for an initial period of five years. Graeme Muir, Partner, Barnett Waddingham, said: “Last year was a successful one for Barnett Waddingham in securing local authority mandates. We are delighted to be working with the London Borough of Newham and look forward to working with officers and members on the challenges that lie ahead.”

The London Borough of Newham is situated to the East of the City of London and includes City Airport and the Excel Exhibition centre.
