Barnett Waddingham CFA Exam Success

Xia Wang has become the first person at Barnett Waddingham to successfully complete all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.  The Firm was established in 1989 has seen an increasing number of its personnel pursuing this qualification.

CFA is an international professional designation offered by the CFA Institute to financial analysts, particularly those in the fields of investment management and financial analysis of stocks, bonds and their derivative assets. The program focuses on portfolio management and financial analysis and provides a general knowledge of other areas of finance.

In order to become a CFA Charterholder, candidates must pass all three six-hour exams, possess a bachelor's degree or above and have 48 months of work experience in the investment decision-making process. CFA Charterholders are also obliged to adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and Standards governing their professional conduct.

Xia currently works as an Investment Analyst within Barnett Waddingham Investments Private Client Practice reporting to Andrew Coveney.  Xia also holds an Investment Management Certificate and is a candidate member of the CFA Society of the UK.
