Trustee Meeting Handbook 2009
We have updated our Trustee Meeting Handbook for 2009.
The handbook is intended to be a reference guide for trustees to use at trustee meetings, to help their governance responsibilities. The handbook includes:
- items for consideration at each trustee meeting
- items to consider with the employer
- items for notification to the actuary
- items for notification to The Pensions Regulator
- items for notification to HMRC
- items to consider with the investment manager
- items to include on an annual meeting plan
The handbook also includes comments on:
- managing conflicts of interest
- internal controls
- breaches of legislation
- trustee knowledge and understanding
We have also included a section on actions to take before 31 March 2009 in order to manage your PPF levy. Please also refer to our website www.thelevyforum.co.uk for information about the PPF levy.
