Historic Self Administered Pension Schemes

Barnett Waddingham LLP once again ran their annual seminars across the country in February and March 2006 concerning Small Self-Administered Schemes (SSAS) and Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPP).

With the implementation date of the Government's tax simplification reforms then just a few months away, (effective on 6 April 2006), the seminars focused on those changes and how they could impact on your scheme.

Even with the Chancellor's recent 'u-turn' in relation to residential property, there will still be greater flexibility for most under the new regime, and the seminars expanded on the changes detailed in our recent newsletters.

The seminars were held in our offices, with the exception of that in Leeds which was held at the Leeds Club. They were free of charge and lasted for approximately 1 and a half hours. There was time for questions from attendees, who were invited to join us for refreshments.
