Barnett Waddingham LLP announces 4 new Partners and 8 new Associates
Andrew Coveney and Clive Grimley both Directors of the FSA regulated arm, Barnett Waddingham Investments Limited, will become Partners of Barnett Waddingham LLP as of 1 June 2007. They join two very recent new Partners, Bhargaw Buddhdev who joined the Amersham office from Aon Consulting and Rod Marshall who joined the London office from New Bridge Street Consultants LLP.
Andrew Coveney joined Barnett Waddingham in 2001 in order to establish a new financial services company to be directly regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Barnett Waddingham Investments Limited was incorporated in June 2002.
Andrew has a degree in Business Studies and Economics and is also a Chartered Financial Planner.
Clive Grimley becomes a Partner of Barnett Waddingham LLP having also been a Director of Barnett Waddingham Investments Ltd. Working from the London office, Clive's primary responsibility is advising corporate clients on matters regulated by the Financial Services, including defined contribution pension plans; group risk insurances and flexible benefit plans.
Clive is a member of the Firm's management board responsible for staff, and chairs Barnett Waddingham's Compliance Strategy Committee.

The following people will become Associates of the firm from the same date:
John Flynn is Barnett Waddingham's compliance officer based in the London office. He has 15 years experience in the financial services industry and co-authored "Planning for a Flexible Retirement" published by the Chartered Insurance Institute. He is a Chartered Financial Planner, an Associate of the Charterest Insurance Institute and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
Jane Gregory joined the pensions administration team in the Amersham office of Barnett Waddingham in 1997 from an employee benefits consultancy. She played a significant part in Barnett Waddingham's review and application of changes following tax simplification, resulting in the successful implementation for pension schemes administered by Barnett Waddingham. Jane qualified as an Associate of The Pensions Management Institute (APMI) in 1998.
Steve Hitchiner is a member of Barnett Waddingham's London office where he jointly leads a team providing advice to both companies and trustees in relation to corporate pension schemes. Steve graduated from Southampton University with a degree in Mathematics with Actuarial Studies in 1999 and qualified as a Fellow of the Insititute of Actuaries in 2003.
Claire Lancaster is one of the team leaders of Barnett Waddingham's London pensions actuarial team and has experience of all aspects of corporate pension arrangements. She is a member of the firm's Pensions Actuarial Technical Committee and also sits on the Legislation Committee of the Society of Pensions Consultants.
Mark Pipe has been advising directors of private limited companies on their Small Self Administered Pension Scheme, Self Invested Personal Pensions and Funded Unapproved Retirement Benefit Schemes since joining Barnett Waddingham's Leeds office in 1998. Mark qualified as an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute in 2000 and regularly speaks at Barnett Waddingham's annual SSAS and SIPP seminars.
Ben Pullen graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BA in Economics and Mathematics and joined Barnett Waddingham in 2000. Ben qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 2005 and now heads up a team of actuarial students and qualified actuaries in our Amersham office.
As well as advising a range of pension scheme trustees, Ben specialises in providing pensions advice to our corporate clients.
Ben Roach is a member of Barnett Waddingham's pensions actuarial team in Leeds, having recently moved from a similar role in the firm's Cheltenham office. Ben graduated at Sheffield University in 1999 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 2005.
Matt Tickle based in the Cheltenham Office qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 2004. Matt takes particular interest in the investment issues facing pension schemes. As well as his client responsibilities, Matt is secretary for the firm's 'Asset Strategy Committee' and is particularly involved with Barnett Waddingham LLP's research into 'managers of managers' and 'Liability Driven Investments'.
These promotions follow continuing expansion for Barnett Waddingham.
