Exam Success - Summer 2004
A report on recent achievements by Barnett Waddingham LLP staff in professional examinations.
This summer's professional examination results provided numerous reasons for celebration.
There were two qualifications as Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, with Nick Griggs from our Cheltenham office and Nick Bunch from London earning their certificates.
Jeff Scholey and Andrew Webber, from our London and Amersham offices respectively, obtained the Certificate in Investment and Finance. A large number of other actuarial candidates were successful in passing particular papers on their path towards qualification.
In the Qualification in Pensions Administration exams Barnett Waddingham staff passed a total of 16 exams and gained 5 workbased units, with Libby Milvain from Cheltenham qualifying and thus being entitled to MPMI status.
The Pensions Management Institute exams also proved to be a source of success for Barnett Waddingham with 10 passes and 1 qualifier to report: Cheltenham Sarah Innes is now an APMI.
Robert Wakefield and Joanne Linley from Leeds and Chris Elliott from Cheltenham all completed the Retirement Provision Diploma and are thus entitled to MPMI status. Joanne deserves an extra special mention as she has been awarded the PMI North East Regional Prize for her performance in these exams.
Congratulations to all!
