Barnett Waddingham LLP Cocktail Party 2004
After a break in 2003, Barnett Waddingham LLP's annual cocktail party returned to the fray in 2004 with an evening at the British Library.
On a hot and sunny evening, it was fortunate that the west-facing well-windowed venue opened out onto a copious terrace, as inside became warmer and warmer and increased the need for champagne-based rehydration.

Because so much time and effort had been needed to explain to people that their lack of an invitation to the 2003 party was due to the fact that there was no party rather than any particular victimisation, explained Huw Wynne-Griffith to the assembled guests, it was simply not cost-effective to forgo the party. This reasoning was applauded by all present.

The tours of the Library on offer went down very well, but numbers were limited and all of the tours somewhat over-subscribed, so apologies to those who were not able to see the workings and treasures of the Library.
In time-honoured tradition, the clients and BW folk with the stamina to carry on until the end continued the party on licensed premises just across the road.

Our thanks go to the Library, the musicians and in particular to all of our clients who attended and made the first party for Barnett Waddingham LLP such an enjoyable evening.
