Historic SSAS Seminars

In 1999, the annual season of Barnett Waddingham's Autumn SSAS Seminars witnessed visits to thirteen venues across the country.

The total attendance at the Seminars reached a record level with over 400 people attending, of whom around 180 were existing clients of the firm with the remainder being professional advisers. The significant increase in numbers in 1999 reflected the growing need for professional advice in the increasingly flexible areas of pension planning. 1999's seminars covered Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs), with particular reference to the (then) newly-launched Barnett Waddingham SIPP, as well as the more familiar subjects of SSASs and FURBS.

The depth of knowledge and experience which Barnett Waddingham brought to bear on these topics was demonstrated by the fact that sixteen different members of staff spoke at the Seminars, and we were delighted at the comments received concerning the quality of the presentations and the speakers.
