2011 Predictions League

Our Predictions League competition for 2011 has now come to an end and we can now announce the winners!

It has certainly been an turbulent year and only one person entering the competition predicted that we would end the year with long-term government gilt yields anywhere near 2.8%! Inflation figures also seemed to surprise people with nearly everybody under-estimating CPI inflation for 2011 but over-estimating where long term inflation expectations would be at the end of the year.
