Vacancy: Senior Compliance Assistant

Description: Our Compliance team in our London office are looking for a Senior Compliance Assistant.

Compliance ensures that the Firm maintains regulated status.  The role includes admin, assisting with internal audits and assisting with development of internal policies and procedures.  Attention to detail is essential together with good PC skills and excellent communication skills.  Ideally you would be working towards FPC/Cert PFS qualifications.  Some experience of Financial Services or Pensions would be beneficial.

Vacancy: SSAS Consultant
Office: Amersham

Description: Our Amersham office is looking for an experienced SSAS consultant to provide high standards of service and advice to clients in all aspects of SSAS work, including the provision of trustee services.

The candidate will be managing a portfolio of clients and will be responding to client queries on all aspects of SSAS work including: Benefit levels, Investments and allowable HMRC practice. Attending client meetings in both a consultant and trustee capacity is an essential part of the role as well as preparing benefit calculations, providing advice on areas of self assessment, as well as maintaining the registered status for schemes along with following up enquiries.

This role requires a high standard of communication skills and the ability to work within an experienced team of technical assistants and consultants. Flexibility is key in this role as is the ability to make presentations to clients.

Vacancy: Training and Development Manager
Office: Cheltenham

Description: The HR team are looking to recruit a Training Manager on a fixed term contract to identify training needs and draw up a training plan as well as deliver training across the firm. Candidates will be experienced training professionals who have knowledge to set up a training function to address skills gaps, not all of which need to be satisfied by face to face delivery. Experience of working in professional services would be an advantage and a training qualification would be desirable.

The candidate must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and willing to travel to our offices to discuss training needs and deliver courses where necessary. Excellent communication and influencing skills are key to the role and a highly professional approach to the work is essential. A good knowledge of IT and the ability to manage administration through good organisation skills will be necessary in this varied role.

Vacancy: Practice Manager
Office: London

Description: Our senior management team are looking for a Practice Manager/Executive Assistant to join the Firm and support the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Partner in managing operational activities.  These activities are many and varied but include property, LLP governance, Health and Safety, management of our office support staff and acting as a personal assistant to the COO.  

Based in our London office it would be essential for the Practice Manager to be able to travel to all of our 7 offices around the country and play an active part in managing support and office services provision as well as property matters.

Experience of performing a similar role is more important than qualifications, however a professional qualification as a company secretary or a financial qualification may be an advantage.  Past experience of working in professional services would also be desirable but not essential.  Excellent communication and influencing skills are key to the role and good administrative and organisational skills would be required to perform the role to the standard required.
