Background
The IT department at Barnett Waddingham plays a key role in maintaining and developing our in-house systems. Based in our Amersham, Leeds and London offices we work in a friendly and supportive working environment. The firm relies heavily upon its IT systems and is always revieing new technology and ideas. The current systems are Windows 2003/SQL server 2000/2005 with Windows XP workstations running Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007.
Roles
We are always keen to hear from experienced software developers with experience of object-orientated languages (C#, Java, Visual Basic.net, C++ or equivalent). Person skills required are the ability to analyse and define a business problem in computing terms, be a good team member, have the ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical staff and to learn quickly and absorb new ideas.
