Trevor Harvey FPMI

Trevor joined Barnett Waddingham LLP in December 2002 after Barnett Waddingham acquired the Windsor SSAS unit of Mercers which he managed. All the staff and clients transferred to the Amersham office of Barnett Waddingham LLP.

Trevor was appointed as an Associate of the firm at that time.

He is responsible for a large number of clients, covering directors both in private and public companies. Those companies cover all areas of industry and business. Trevor is a regular speaker both at external and internal seminars.

Trevor also served for five years on the national committee, the Association of Pensioneer Trustees, a nation-wide body for the industry, and served as the Association's Secretary from 2003 to 2005. Following a merger with the body representing SIPP’s, Trevor was appointed as the first Secretary of the successor organisation, The Association of Member-Directed Pension Schemes and remained in this role until October 2007. Through these Associations he was actively involved in lobbying various Government bodies in relation to the changes for the Tax Simplification of Pension Schemes.

He qualified as an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute in April 1988, and was subsequently elected a Fellow of that Institute.

Trevor is a keen mountain walker and regularly competes in triathlons over all distances.
