Ruth Thomas FIA
Ruth graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics in 1988 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1995.
Ruth joined Barnett Waddingham as a consultant in 2008 when Garvins became part of the Barnett Waddingham group. She previously worked for Ernst & Young, Coopers & Lybrand and Skandia Life.
Ruth is based at our Bromsgrove office and has specialised in advising trustees and companies on pensions issues. She holds a number of Scheme Actuary appointments.
Ruth’s spare time is occupied by three young children. When time allows she enjoys swimming and reading and she has recently taken up tennis and skiing.
