Robert Wakefield APMI
Robert graduated from Leeds University in 1988 in Mathematics and Statistics, has 18 years experience in the pensions industry and is an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute.
Robert Wakefield joined Barnett Waddingham in early 1999, becoming an Associate of the Firm on 1 June 2003 and is Manager of the Leeds Office Administration Team.
Robert has a key role in the development of Barnett Waddingham’s systems which is a crucial part of the growth of the firm and is part of the systems strategy committee within the Firm.
Robert’s work also includes client management to ensure that all clients are receiving the required level of service from both an efficiency and quality perspective. Part of this work involves meeting with clients to work on ways of increasing efficiency and helping to train in-house staff in the ever increasing complexities of running pension schemes.
Robert speaks at seminars on pensions administration and disclosure as part of Barnett Waddingham’s trustee training program and speaks externally on pension administration matters.
Robert is a committee member of the NAPF Yorkshire Group.
