Robert Garvin FIA

Robert graduated from Oxford University in 1975 with an MA in Mathematics and qualified as an actuary in 1983.

He joined Barnett Waddingham as a consultant in 2008 when Garvins became part of the Barnett Waddingham Group.   Previously, Robert worked for Duncan C Fraser (now Mercer) and T G Arthur Hargrave (now Hewitt) before establishing Garvins in 1988. 

Robert is based at our Bromsgrove office.  He works with a wide range of clients and specialises in trusteeship, expert witness, apportionment of trusts and funeral prepayment schemes.   

In his spare time Robert enjoys squash, cycling touring, tandeming and is involved with his local church.
